Studying the Word of the Lord

As a new believer it is vital that you begin to read and study the Word of God. The bible teaches that you should "Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth."  2 Timothy 2:15

In God's Word we also learn why it is important to study and know the Word of God

"... the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
