God’s Resurrection Promise.
“…there shall be a resurrection of the dead, both of the just and unjust.” (Acts 24:15b)
Friend, one day you will stand before God to give an account of your life. Here is what you need to know to prepare yourself for that day.
The Bad News
The Bible, God’s Word, says that we are all in the unjust group because of sin!
“As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:” (Romans 3:10) “For all have sinned, and came short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23)
Unfortunately, there is a penalty for sin!
“For the wages of sin is death...” (Romans 6.23a)
This “death” will separate us from the love of God for all eternity!
“Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;” (II Thessalonians 1:9)
The Good News
God makes His love available to us all!
“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8)
He (Christ) paid your penalty for sin!
“Christ died for our sins...” (1 Cornthians 5:3)
Christ offers this Salvation as a Gift!
"the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord "
(Romans 6:23b)
Gifts are received, not earned!
“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.”
(Ephesians 2:8-9)
Christ’s own resurrection proves He is willing and able to save you!
“Jesus said…I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:” (John 11:25)
Dear reader, God has promised that you will be resurrected one day. Wouldn’t you like the assurance that you’ll be ready to stand before Him without the fear of eternal punishment? Then why not pray this prayer right now:
“Lord Jesus, I confess that I am a sinner in need of a Savior. I ask for forgiveness for my sin. I believe You suffered and died on the cross to pay the FULL price for my sin, and to give me new life. I thank you for saving me and I invite you into my heart to be my Lord and Savior.”
